246. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he has met the CEOs of Dublin Bus and Go Ahead since his appointment, and the issues discussed. [7281/25]

I am scheduled to have an introductory meeting with the CEO of Dublin Bus on the 5th of March 2025.

I intend to meet with the Chairpersons and CEOs of CIÉ and its subsidiaries on a regular basis during my tenure as Minister, or as the need arises. In addition to these meetings, my Department has regular engagement with the CIÉ Group companies at all levels, including at CEO level, in relation to, inter alia, governance, financial, investment, safety, and service related issues, and I am briefed by my Department on any relevant issues which arise during the course of such normal administrative and corporate governance related contact between my Department and the companies in question.

I recently met the CEO of the National Transport Authority on February 13th 2025, at which I was provided with an update regarding, inter alia, Go Ahead Ireland, rectification of service delivery issues, and roll out of the BusConnects projects.
