The Community Recognition Fund (CRF) was first introduced in 2023 to recognise the huge efforts made by communities in welcoming and supporting people coming to Ireland. Through the 2023 allocation, funding of €50 million was approved for some 900 projects.

A second iteration of the Fund was opened in March 2024. Applications under the 2024 round of funding can be submitted by local authorities across three tranches, so as to allow flexibility and adequate engagement and collaboration at a local level. Allocations have now been announced under two of these tranches, and the third and final tranche has a closing date for applications of 28 February.

The attached table outlines all projects in Dublin that were allocated funding under CRF 2023 and under phase 1 and 2 of CRF 2024.
