I wish to advise the Deputy that the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) provides my department’s digital and IT systems used for normal business activities, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of those systems.
In addition to the main IT system, my department has engaged other suppliers to support certain business activities, and the spend over the years 2020 to 2025 to date is outlined in the table below:
Body | Contractor | Spend |
---|---|---|
Department of Finance | Lilley Ventures | US$ 39,104.20 |
Department of Finance | OGCIO (project costs) | € 252,847.84 |
Department of Finance | RedFaire | € 213,080.95 |
Department of Finance | SIA Partners (Pathfinder Execution Ltd) | € 260,400.00 |
Total Department of Finance | €726,328.79 & US$39,104.20 |
In addition to the main website, my department has engaged Language Communications to support the SwitchYourBank.ie website, the costs of which were recouped from AIB and PTSB. The responsibility for this website was transferred to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in 2022.
The detail of spend to develop and maintain this website over the years 2020 to 2025 to date is as follows:
Body | Contractor | Spend |
---|---|---|
Department of Finance | Language Communications | €5,890 |
