29. To ask the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence if he will provide a list of all meetings of the Ukraine Contact Defence Group that Ireland has been represented at; who has represented Ireland at these meetings; and the location in which these meetings took place. [6454/25]

Since the inaugural meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) in April 2022, the group has convened regularly to discuss and coordinate support for Ukraine in response to Russia illegal invasion, with the 26th meeting held on the 12th February this year. Ireland has attended meetings of the Group since May 2022 - which have alternated between video conferences and in-person meetings held in Ramstein in Germany and in Brussels.

Where a physical meeting, attendance has been by Ireland’s Military Representative to the EU & NATO's Partnership for peace (PfP) and an Official from my department's Brussels based office. A representative from the Department of Defence and the Defence Forces have also attended the virtual meetings.

The contact group has grown to more than 50 participating members, including almost all NATO and EU Member States as well as a number of African and Asian countries.
