No divisions, units or other Departmental structures have been added to or removed from the brief of the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to date since the change of Government.

My Department is currently following the process and principles outlined in the DPENDER Handbook on Transfers of Functions to give effect to the transfer of functions in and out of my Department as announced as part of the formation of Government and subsequent discussions. As a first step, this involves the engagement with relevant departments at a senior level in a scoping exercise to ascertain the impact and extent of the transfers required. This work is ongoing.
