Education Support Centres (ESC) are independent bodies recognised under Section 37 of the Education Act (1998). This legislation states that “An education support centre shall have a management committee, to manage the business and staff of that centre.” The management committee are responsible for ensuring that the ESC carries out its full range of functions in an effective and efficient manner and that all guidelines, procedures and any other circulars, terms and conditions relevant to the ESC are in place and observed.
Donegal Education Support Centre has a procurement policy in place. I understand that the current procurement policy was reviewed and approved by the management committee of Donegal Education Support Centre and adopted on 01/10/24.
