To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if he will provide an update on the number of appeals submitted to An Board Pleanála via decisions made by Cork City and County Councils; the number of these upheld; the number of these overturned, for the years 2021, 2022 2023 and 2024, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An Bord Pleanála (the Board) is the national independent statutory body with responsibility for the determination of planning appeals and direct applications for strategic infrastructure and other developments under the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, and certain other Acts.
The information requested is not held by my Department as this is a matter for An Bord Pleanála.
