The Baling Assistance Payment was introduced in July 2024 with an application closing date of 30 September 2024.

1,475 applications were received under the Scheme. All application were subject to administrative verification checks with processing ongoing in a number of cases. My Department is in direct communication with applicants and their agents to resolve outstanding issues.

Payments in respect of cleared applications are expected to commence issuing from mid February.
