The organisation referred to by the Deputy submitted an application under the 2023 Community Sport Facilities Fund (formerly the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme). In some situations, applicants must complete documentation confirming continued access to the relevant property/land. The relevant documentation was not received as part of the initial application and therefore was deemed invalid. The organisation in question was given the opportunity to appeal that decision but no such appeal was received.
