The project to which the Deputy refers has been devolved for delivery to Tipperary Education and Training Board.

The project is currently at Stage 2a of the architectural planning design process (detailed design). Once the Stage 2a report is received, reviewed and approved by my Department, the next step for the Design Team will be to obtain the necessary statutory permissions and the preparation of tender documents. When these are in place, the project can proceed onwards to Tender and construction in due course.

As the project is still at an early stage in the delivery process, it is not possible at this time to give a date for its completion. However, Tipperary ETB as the delivery body, will continue to engage directly with the school authority to keep it fully informed of progress.
