The Secretary General in my Department is paid on the Level II Secretary General Salary Scale for appointments on/after the 01/06/2011. The Secretary General has been on this salary scale with effect from his appointment to my Department on the 19/01/2022.
Any change in the salary scale for the Secretary General is in line with the relevant public sector pay agreements and reviews such as that which was completed by the Review Body on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector.
