446. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality to outline the exact title of each Minister of State in his Department; to outline their delegated functions and attributable budget heading for each of these functions; the timeframe when such delegated functions will be formally notified to the Dáil; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that Niall Collins TD has been appointed Minister of State at my Department with special responsibility for International Law, Law Reform and Youth Justice. It is intended that Colm Brophy TD will be appointed Minister of State with special responsibility for Migration following the enactment of the Ministers and Secretaries and Ministerial, Parliamentary, Judicial and Court Offices (Amendment) Bill 2025.

Discussions are underway between myself and the Ministers of State regarding the functions to be delegated to each of them. Following the conclusion of these discussions a statutory instrument setting out the delegated functions for each Minister of State will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
