34. To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the nature of refurbishments that were carried out at Irish embassies during 2024; and the nature of refurbishments that are scheduled to be carried out at Irish embassies during 2025, in tabular form. [2882/25]

The high level ambition of the DFA Property Strategy (2022-2025) is ‘a network of high quality, safe, secure, sustainable workplaces to double Ireland’s global impact and influence to 2025 and beyond’.

During 2024, the following refurbishment works were carried out in Embassies:

Mission Nature of the Works
Ankara New carpets and repainting of Chancery Meeting Room.
Cairo Refurbishment of Embassy
Lilongwe Repainting of the Chancery
Oslo Repainting of the Chancery
Paris Refurbishment of Flooring at Chancery
Valetta Repainting of the Chancery
Brussels Refurbishment of office space

In respect of 2025, at present the following refurbishments are planned:

Mission Nature of the Works
Brussels Refurbishment of Conference Room
Bogotá Refurbishment of Chancery
Vienna Refurbishment of Chancery
