My Office as Minister for Defence comprises of 1 Assistant Principal Officer, 1 Executive Officer and 2 Clerical Officers. Each officer is paid at the rate applicable to the civil service salary for the grade in which they serve. The Assistant Principal, as Private Secretary to the Minister, receives an allowance of €24,952.76 per annum.
