To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if he is aware of the lengthy delays experiences by residents in Rolestown in accessing broadband; if he is aware that this service was promised for December 2024 and that it is has been delayed until December 2025; if he will agree that these repeated delays are unacceptable; if he plans to improve on this roll-out or address this delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment regarding the replacement of all the old copper cable landlines with fibre voice over broadband landlines, which raises the issue that in the future when we lose power, we will lose the ability to use our landlines and also to use our panic buttons for the elderly people in our community; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
