I would advise the Deputy that the following is a breakdown of the mileage claims for Minister of State Thomas Byrne for the years 2023 and 2024. (Minister of State O'Donovan's mileage claims would have been managed by OPW).
2023 | Minister Thomas Byrne |
---|---|
3,043.05 | January |
2,426.23 | February |
1,917.47 | March |
1,211.51 | April |
1,228.37 | May |
1,902.17 | June |
964.47 | July |
670.81 | August |
1,231.93 | September |
1,115.77 | October |
1,066.62 | November |
1,157.68 | December |
17,936.08 | Total |
2024 | Minister Thomas Byrne |
---|---|
3,751.78 | January |
2,132.06 | February |
1,528.80 | March |
1,809.22 | April |
2,417.13 | May |
1,482.18 | June |
1,303.33 | July |
776.36 | August |
1,062.22 | September |
1,758.13 | October |
662.27 | Nov/December |
20707.48 | Total |
The annual cost of overnight allowances for civilian drivers assigned to Minister Byrne was €501 in 2023 and €3,705 in 2024.
