I can confirm that my Department and the Offices under its aegis currently outsource cleaning services and/or service officer/security officer roles to private companies, the details are set out in the table below:

Outsourcing of services by any agencies under the aegis of the Department is an operational matter for each individual agency. The agencies under the aegis of the Department have been contacted and requested to respond directly to the Deputy within 10 days of this question being answered.

Yes, my Department directly employs cleaners and service officers. The below table shows the number of staff currently employed in each role and the length of such contracts.
The value of each contract is based on the pay scales shown in the circular at the link:
