250. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport regarding a person who had a full Irish driving licence which became lost (details supplied), if he agrees that this person should receive a replacement licence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1487/25]

All enquires relating to Irish driving licences and driver licensing are handled by the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS), the provision of which I have delegated to the Road Safety Authority (RSA) under the relevant legislation. My Department does not have access to individual applications.

As this is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
