In making appointments to State boards under my remit as Minister for Transport, my Department operates in accordance with the Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform 2014 on appointments to State Boards . This applies to all State Boards both commercial and non-commercial. There are 12 commercial bodies and 5 non-commercial bodies with boards that fall within these guidelines under the aegis of the Department of Transport.
Information relating to board appointments for agencies under my Department's remit and the basis of that appointment is available on publicjobs.ie, operated by the Public Appointments Service (PAS), and on my Department’s website.
