1461. To ask the Minister for Health if he will direct the HSE to overrule the recent recommendation from the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics and make pluvicto available for reimbursement to eligible patients; if he acknowledges the urgent need for access to this treatment for cancer patients in the healthcare system; and if he will take into account that pluvicto has already been approved and is in use for patient care in several European countries and certain NHS trusts in the UK. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for decisions on the pricing and reimbursement of medicines and devices; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
