The Office of Public Works (OPW) is responsible for caring, maintaining and operating the country’s most important heritage sites. The mission of OPW Heritage Services is to conserve the nation’s built and natural heritage in our care, to provide public access and interpretation for citizens and visitors and to engender a desire for its protection.
The number of visitors to Trim Castle for the years 2023 and 2024 (to 27th Oct) are set out below in tabular form. It should be noted that the OPW audits visitor data in arrears and annual data for the previous year is audited in Q1 each year. As such the 2024 data below is preliminary.
