210. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if contact has been made with ASL Airlines Ireland about reports that it has transported munitions of war to Israel and, if so, when was that contact made and what was the response from the airline. [44632/24]

I can confirm that my Department formally wrote to ASL Airlines Ireland soon after it was identified in the media reports referred to. While I do not think it appropriate to comment in detail on the content of the correspondence with one particular air operator, their response indicated that they are fully aware of their obligations under Irish law in relation to the carriage of munitions of war.

To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport for a list of flights granted permission to carry munitions of war from 8 October 2023 to 24 October 2024 showing the date, airline, flight number, departure airport, destination airport, description of the munitions on board and their final country of destination, in tabular form.
