As the Deputy may be aware, as Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the provision of integrated ticketing and information systems for public transport, including the Leap card.

Given the NTA's responsibility in the matter, I referred Parliamentary Question 288 of 9 September 2024 to the NTA for a direct reply. I apologise that a reply has not yet issued.
