The project to which the Deputy refers is devolved for delivery to Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB).
The design team to deliver the project was appointed by KWETB in May 2024 and they are now preparing the Stage 1 (preliminary design) to design the buildings, obtain the necessary statutory planning permissions, and move the project onward to tender and construction in due course, subject to all necessary due diligence.
As the project is at an early stage in the delivery process, it is not possible at this time to give a timeline for its completion KWETB will continue to engage with the school authority to keep it informed of progress.
