The project to which the Deputy refers has been devolved for delivery to Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB).
It is currently at Stage 2b of the architectural design process. The planning application was lodged in Quarter 1 2024 but a Request for Further Information (RFI) was issued. The Design Team has submitted a response to the RFI and it is currently with Kildare County Council for their review and consideration.
At this stage it is not possible to provide a timeline for completion of this project. Subject to any further issues arising during the planning process, the project will proceed to tender and construction in due course.
KWETB are engaging directly with the school authority to keep them informed of progress.
