The school referred to by the Deputy is currently based in temporary prefabricated accommodation. It is intended that this school will relocate to a former primary school building that is currently occupied by a special school pending the construction of a new school building for them. The Department will shortly be engaging with the patron of the school referenced by the Deputy regarding the arrangements for the relocation of the school.

The large scale capital project for the special school commenced on site in June 2023 with an estimated completion timeframe envisaged for end of August 2025.
