The Project referred to by the Deputy was approved to enter the department’s pipeline of school buildings to provide 4 General Classrooms, 2 SET Rooms, 1 Graphics Room & 3 Class SEN unit under the Additional Accommodation Scheme 2021. This project has been devolved to the school authorities for delivery.

A Stage 1 report was received and was reviewed from both a technical and cost perspective in accordance with the requirements of the Public Spending Code. Following the initial review comments issued in June 2024, which requested the submission of a Stage 1 addendum to progress this project.

Officials from my Department directly contacted the school principal in October 2024 to confirm that this addendum has not yet been received. We await this addendum report before we can progress this very important project to the next stage.
