656. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will publish the ECCE Review Report, given that the Dáil was informed in April that the review was complete; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43257/24]

First 5 - A Whole-of-Government Strategy for Babies, Young Children and their Families 2019-2028 commits to "undertaking a review of the ECCE programme and, subject to findings, consider the need to make changes. Over the lifetime of the strategy, introduce a universal legal entitlement to preschool."

The Review of the ECCE Programme has been finalised and I am pleased to note that the final report will be published today, Tuesday the 22nd of October.

The findings from the review are under consideration by myself and Officials in my Department. These findings will inform the work to introduce a statutory entitlement to ECCE, as well as possible enhancements to the Programme in the future.
