The grade of Fire Advisor has not been used in my Department for some considerable time, while the grade of Senior Fire Advisor does not exist.

The following table sets out the number of FTE staff serving in the senior manager grades (i.e. Principal Officer equivalent) of my department's National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management at the end of December 2023 and September 2024.
