89. To ask the Taoiseach the current number of staff working in the shared island unit; the full year cost of increasing staffing levels by 5%, 10% 15% and 20%, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42843/24]

The Shared Island Unit in the Department of the Taoiseach continues to prioritise and progress the Shared Island Initiative, working with all communities and political traditions to build a shared future on this island, underpinned by the Good Friday Agreement. The Unit comes under the management of the Assistant Secretary for the British and Northern Ireland Affairs Division.
The current staffing complement of the Shared Island Unit is outlined in the table below.

All staff working in the Shared Island Unit are civil servants and are assigned to the appropriate civil service pay scale.
