The application referred to was deemed invalid under the terms and conditions of the Community Sport Facilities Fund (formerly the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme) as it did not include sufficient evidence required to prove that the club owned the land.

My Department has explained the issue in the application to the club directly and has also written to the club inviting it to appeal this decision. The club has since submitted an appeal and the appeal will be assessed.
