The funding provided to Sport Ireland for the period 2016 to 2024 is set out in the table below.

The Budget 2025 funding being provided to Sport Ireland amounts to €115.16 million (€103.6m current, €11.6m capital). This substantial allocation will provide sustained funding for the National Governing Bodies of Sport and our Local Sports Partnerships, in addition to supporting high performance sport and the continued delivery of the National Sports Policy 2018-2027.
