I can confirm that Mr Barry and Mr Neely completed their respective tenures performing the statutory functions of Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) on 15 January 2024.

They then assumed new roles supporting the new IFI Board and Executive in the implementation of the recommendations contained within the EY IFI Governance Review which was published at the end of last year. The recommendations have been considered by the new IFI Board with a view to implementation during 2024.
