120. To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment to provide a breakdown, by fuel source, of the cost of importing energy in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and to date in 2024, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42182/24]

My Department does not collect the information in the format that the Deputy is requesting. However information regarding the volumes of importing energy per fuel type can be obtained by viewing the “” on the SEAI Website. In addition. the ‘Trade Statistics’ published by CSO tracks both the quantity and EUR-value of all goods imported and exported to Ireland, including energy products.
