Three legal cases have been taken against my Department since it was established in 2017. One of these cases was a judicial review which was subsequently withdrawn, with no costs incurred by the Department. The second case related to industrial relations and was settled, with the settlement subject to a non-disclosure agreement. Legal costs in this case amounted to €10,254. The third case, which is now closed, related to a specific island transport service. The total cost of this case, including legal costs and orders, amounted to €99,829.
