My Department is currently engaging with the patron of the schools to which the Deputy refers in the context of the upcoming change of status of the post primary school. As part of that engagement, the short-, medium-, and long-term capacity requirements of the school are being considered.

My Department is committed to supporting the school in question through its change of status, including with appropriate capital investment. The ongoing engagement with the patron, and the recent visit to the school by my Department's technical personnel, will inform the nature and scope of this capital investment.
