Staff in the Communications Unit carry out a range of duties across several aspects of communications including communications from the department to primary and post-primary schools; communications on new curriculum, professional development and resources; announcements and events; desktop publishing and design for department publications; video and online content for the department website, events, information campaigns. social media and digital channels; and press office/ media queries.

It should be noted that the role of the Communications Unit has been expanded to include stakeholder engagement since early 2024.

Please find a list attached of all staff that worked in her Department’s communications and press office in each of the years 2019 to 2024; and the grade of each staff member.
