Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is a statutory agency independent of the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC). My Department has no function in internal IFI matters including in relation to the appointment of Deputy CEOs.
This is a matter for IFI, and the Board of IFI, under Section 24(3) of the Inland Fisheries Act 2010.
