To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth further to Parliamentary Question No. 43 of 2 October 2024, the reason that there are no standard diagnostic policies or guidelines for diagnosing or treating children with an organisation (details supplied); the steps being taken to establish a statutory diagnostic criteria; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Dear Deputy, FASD is an issue that sits currently with my colleague the Minister of Health. The issues relating to FASD currently reside with HSE Health and Wellbeing which falls under the remit of the Department of Health.
