I can inform the Deputy that the visa application referred to has been re-examined by a Visa Appeals Officer in the Visa Division. The Visa Appeals Officer has taken all the documentation and information submitted with the original application and appeal into consideration.
The appeal has not been successful and the original decision to refuse the application is upheld. The reasons for the refusal of the appeal is outlined in the refusal letter of the 20 August 2024. Among the key criteria in determining a Join Family application is a requirement to show that the applicant is dependent on the Sponsor including that they require the financial support of the sponsor on a continuous basis and that the sponsor has sufficient means to provide such support.
