I propose to take Questions Nos. 101 and 102 together.
I welcome the Joint Oireachtas Committee's report on 'The Development of Local and Community Arts' which was recently published. The recommendations broadly align in many instances with policies and programmes in place in my Department in relation to areas such as local arts infrastructure, disability, and arts and health. The report is a helpful and positive contribution to policy development in these areas and the 16 recommendations set out therein continue to be reviewed by officials in my Department.
I sincerely thank the committee members for the time and effort they put into compiling this report and also thank the broad range of stakeholders who contributed through submissions and public engagement.
