177. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to provide details regarding the most recent extensions to two school buildings (details supplied), to include expenditure and projected costs, if any, approved by her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39775/24]

I wish to advise the Deputy that the first school in question received funding for the provision of 4 Mainstream Classrooms, 1 Textile room, 2 Science labs, 1 Art room, 1 Home Econ room, 1 Construction Studies room, 2 Special Educational Needs Base, 1 Office, WC, UAT & locker area, under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme (ASA). The project brief has been delivered using modular accommodation.
To date, the School Authority in question has received the following payments in relation to this project –€9,620,502.95 – paid in June 2023.
€605,479.43 paid in September 2024.
The Final account has yet to be agreed by the Design Team and Contractor, when agreed the documentation will be submitted to the Department for consideration.
The second school in question received funding for a Specialist Room & Prep area, 2 Class Special Educational Needs Base and 4 Mainstream Classrooms under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme (ASA). The project brief has been delivered using modular accommodation.
To date, the School Authority in question has received the following payments in relation to this project –€3,712,105.46 – paid in December 2022
€816,120.00 – paid in April 2024.
The Department has yet to receive the final account for this project.
