146. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the companies in Wicklow that have benefited from grants from Enterprise Ireland in the past five years, in tabular form; the results of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39741/24]

The most recent figures available are for the period 2019-2023.

Enterprise Ireland (EI) provided payments to 139 companies in County Wicklow in the five-year period from 2019 to 2023. Total payments to these companies over the relevant period amounts to €15.9 million.

Funding provided to EI supported companies and infrastructural clients helps to create quality and sustainable jobs and future proof the economy. Enterprise Ireland's latest Annual Employment Survey shows that there were 3,683 people employed Enterprise Ireland supported companies in Wicklow in 2023.

Additionally, two infrastructural clients of EI, the Arklow Business Enterprise Centre and the Clermont Enterprise Hub, received payments of €1.8 million in the period 2019 to 2023.
