Legislation allowing for the establishment of Ireland’s Agri-Food Regulator, the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain Act 2023, was signed into law on 11th of July 2023. An Rialálaí Agraibhia was subsequently established on the 13th of December 2023.

I can confirm that, on 12 September 2024, I received a report from An Rialálaí Agraibhia. The report recommended that I introduce additional Regulations under the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain Act 2023.

I am currently assessing the report and its related recommendation.
