My officials visited and met with the named person at his holding on Tuesday 24th of September 2024. Deficiencies were identified during the inspection as regards holding requirements for bovines. The named person was notified of the deficiencies and was advised to contact the Tralee Regional Veterinary Office, Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine, Spa Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry when the deficiencies were rectified. I can assure the Deputy that the named person’s application to reactivate his herd for bovines will be processed as soon as the deficiencies are satisfactorily addressed.
