To ask the Minister for Health the details of clinical trials that are taking place in Ireland; the rate of clinical trials that have taken place over the past four to five years; the collaboration between pharma or academics, north and south on the island; the joint work being done to promote clinical trials across the island on a cooperative basis; the obstacles there may be to such trials being undertaken given Ireland’s reputation as a strong pharma base; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
