The Department of the Taoiseach has incurred no expenditure in relation to the tax case in question.
A total of €4,180,210 in Counsel fees in respect of all related case files has been paid by the Chief State Solicitor’s Office (CSSO). This consists of an aggregate total of €1,265,487 paid to three Junior Counsel and an aggregate total of €2,914,723 paid to eight Senior Counsel. The CSSO is not in a position to provide a breakdown of fees paid to individual Counsel for data protection reasons.
