To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government the extent to which sufficient funds and staff are available to each local authority throughout the country, including Kildare County Council, to process all applications for housing adaptation grants and the disabled persons grant scheme early, as opposed to the current long waiting times being experienced by persons who are undergoing difficulties obtaining the necessary grants; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
