The approximate annual cost at entry of an additional full-time SNA including provision for employer PRSI and substitution costs is €39,990.

The estimated full-year cost of a special education teacher is €72,270 per annum within a primary setting and €73,270 in a post-primary setting. This includes provision for related substitution costs and employer PRSI.
