147. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he received an employer’s permit application (details supplied); and when it is expected that a decision will be made on same. [39028/24]

The Employment Permits Section of my Department informs me that an application for a General Employment Permit for the person concerned in the details supplied was received on 17th September 2024. On 18th September 2024 the application was formally accepted and placed in the processing queue.
Applications for employment permits are dealt with in date order. As of 26th September 2024, the Employment Permits Section are processing new applications in respect of standard employers which were received on 21st August 2024.
